Copy the individual Reddit post link

Use the permalink to the post containing the video, such as a reddit.com/r/community/comments/ address or a redd.it share link. A subreddit feed or user profile contains multiple posts. If the post links to a video hosted on another platform, use the original video URL where that platform is supported.

Check the format type when you need sound

Review the type shown for each available format. A video-only option contains no audio; choose a video-and-audio option when offered if you need sound. A source with no available audio cannot gain a soundtrack during preparation. Select Download once; Processing changes to Downloading now as the site attempts the browser download automatically. Files must stay within 500 MB and videos within 2 hours.

Reddit MP4 video with sound

Some Reddit videos store video and audio separately. When a usable pair is available, the downloader can join them into a video with sound; a genuinely silent source stays silent. Use the link to a specific public Reddit post, and check the sound label. A community feed or a restricted post does not identify an available public video.

Can I use a redd.it share link?

Yes, a redd.it post share link is accepted when it leads to an available public video. You can also paste the full Reddit post permalink.

Why does a downloaded Reddit video have no sound?

You may have selected a video-only format, or the source may not provide audio. Fetch the post and check the format types for a video-and-audio option. Audio availability depends on the source.

Can I download a video from a private subreddit?

No. Only publicly available videos can be fetched. Membership access, sign-in-only posts, removed videos, and protected content are not supported.

Does this downloader create a higher quality than the source?

No. The video list reflects available source formats. Missing HD, 2K or 4K cannot be recovered by changing the label, and the service does not upscale a lower-resolution upload. Sizes marked Estimated can change after processing.
