Fetch the link to see the formats available from the source. Compare the quality and file size, select Prepare file, and download once preparation is complete. A Short's vertical framing comes from its source video; choosing a format does not create a new crop. The service allows files up to 500 MB and videos up to 2 hours.

Which YouTube Shorts link should I paste?

Paste the individual Short's youtube.com/shorts/ link or the share link copied while that Short is open. Use the video link rather than the creator's channel or Shorts tab.

Can I save only the audio from a Short?

You can select an audio-only format if one appears after fetching the link. Availability depends on the source. Prepare the selected format before using Download file.

Why will a public Short sometimes fail to fetch?

The Short may have been removed, require sign-in, or be restricted by YouTube. A public URL does not ensure that a file can be fetched. Check that you copied the individual video's link and try again later if the source is temporarily limiting requests.
